Diddy Source Denies Any Role In Tupac’s Murder: “He Had Absolutely Nothing To Do With It”

A source close to Sean “Diddy” Combs is pushing back forcefully against allegations connecting the Bad Boy Records founder to the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur, telling us Combs had “absolutely nothing to do” with the killing.

The denial comes as testimony and previously recorded conversations being introduced during the murder trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis have renewed scrutiny around long-running allegations involving Combs and the East Coast-West Coast rivalry.

But the source insists there is no connection between Combs and Tupac’s killing.

“Diddy had absolutely nothing to do with the Tupac murder,” the source said. “He did not pull the trigger or set it up.”

The source also dismissed the idea that prosecutors would gain anything by bringing Combs into the case as a witness.

“It would be a waste of time if prosecutors ever called him as a witness.”

The comments represent a direct response to allegations that have followed Combs for years and are again receiving attention as jurors hear evidence concerning Keffe D’s past statements to law enforcement.

Those allegations have included claims surrounding whether money was allegedly offered in connection with Tupac’s killing. The claims remain disputed, and Combs has not been charged in connection with Shakur’s murder.

For the source close to Combs, however, there is no ambiguity: whatever investigators were told by Keffe D, they say Diddy played no role in planning or carrying out Tupac’s murder.
