Rick Ross Moves to Block Remy Ma Film in Legal Clash Over “Biggest Boss” Name

The Boss is having none of that.

Ross’ legal team recently issued a cease-and-desist letter targeting a movie originally titled “The Biggest Boss,”a phrase closely tied to Ross’ brand and persona. 

According to reports, Ross alleges the project uses his signature nickname without authorization, potentially incorporating elements of his life story and music that could mislead fans into believing he’s involved.

The film’s storyline is centered on a law enforcement figure transitioning into a rap career, has raised eyebrows because it mirrors Ross’ own controversial past as a correctional officer turned rap star. 

Remy Ma’s camp moved quickly to contain the situation noting she reportedly was unaware of the conflict initially. She has reached out directly to Ross to resolve the issue. Her team emphasized that she would “never intentionally harm” Ross’ brand, noting their 20+ year relationship in the industry.
